Public Image is run by
Co-Directors Ian Bone and Emma Henderson who have over 30 years experience of working in the arts and of producing large-scale events.
Emma Henderson – Director
Emma Henderson has over twelve years experience of working in arts marketing and PR. Emma’s areas of expertise include the visual arts and festivals. She has a background in marketing and publishing and works throughout Scotland and the North East of England. Currently she is working with bestselling crime writer Sara Sheridan and on Unsolved – a new crime and mystery festival in Aberdeenshire. She is also working on a UK tour of the Lanterns of Terracotta Warriors exhibition which was originally commissioned for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
Ian Bone – Associate Director
Ian Bone has in excess of twenty years experience of working on large-scale projects both internationally and in the UK. He has run major venues at the Edinburgh Festival and more recently has worked on Lumiere in Durham and ‘Peace Camp’ part of the London 2012 Festival. Other notable projects include Extraordinary Measures; an exhibition of outdoor sculpture at Belsay Hall in Northumberland, the Chaoyang Pop Music Festival in Beijing and Elton John’s 2011 music tour,
Ian has a background in journalism and PR.
